MISSION STATEMENT

Men's clothing and custom apparel can be a tricky thing to buy in light of the confusing messages sent  by large companies with enormous marketing dollars who sell mostly substandard quality with a designer's name attached. Often times this designer isn't necessarily associated with the design or production of the line. They mostly sold their name in the form of a licensing agreement to a marketing firm in order to use that name for the purpose of enhancing its marketing audience. Note the use of the word "marketing" twice in the last sentence. Does Joseph Abboud or Perry Ellis design the lines with their names on it? But, you can rest assured Zanella makes their pants, Canali makes their suits, and Paul and Shark makes their knits!. At Raymond Levine, in the end, you, the consumer don't have to pay the licensed line for the license cost. That represents a large cost savings and value for you. Just as important, the consistency of our products are therefore much higher than a licensed line because the production remains in the hands of the same folks year after year; not in the hands of whoever is the higest bidder for the licence, who also may use lowest cost factoy for production. The entire licensing process degrades quality to the point of cheating you after that second or third season of wear. Alternatively, our mission at Raymond Levine, Inc. is to offer the best products, the best customer service, and deliver the best possible end-result we can possibly attain. We strive for you to have many long years of wear from our hand picked lines and products!

Ultimately, if you have an interest in a specific line we carry or idea you have in your mind's eye, we want you to get the most intimate feeling that you are able to obtain. First, we wish to provide you the highest quality textiles and makers that we can can produce at the most fair prices any store in the USA can offer. We are absolutely below 'the biggies' and Chicago's downtown Loop stores in pricing structure because the Southern Suburbs has always repesented the best value in Chicagoland for a variety of economic reasons. My grandfather Raymond Levine, my father Robert Glick, and I have, and will always reflect that pricing goal! Products in our inventory are not only fantastic creative tools to enhance your wardrobe, but are often also works of art, and we continually strive to capture that art as accurately as possible. Next, I try to use my own experience in the world of fashion to help you find the items that are right for you.

Personally, I am a fashion retailer, but I am also a lover of the arts and music. I have high expectations for the tools I select for my own creative needs. We all need fashion that will inspire us with its touch and beauty, no matter what is your level of insight into the world of designers. My job is to help you find the look that speaks to you, and that you can speak through. Finally, in every aspect of my business, I seek to communicate clearly and honestly, and to stand behind the products that I represent.
